Bringing together the queer community in challenging times:
Our first online event – January 22nd 2025 7 - 8.45 pm
With 25 participants from Europe, the US and Israel/Palestine we organized a space of Queer Joy in challenging times, held by one of our members with the support by two members of the Order of interbeing.
Bringing a peaceful atmosphere that welcomes the suffering caused by the inequalities and violence of our times had a huge impact on the participants. Many were really grateful, some asked to use materials like the guided meditation for their local Sanghas and others even started to get involved in organizing for peaceful queer communities.
The potential of further organizing and supporting events that bring together queer Plum Village practitioners of different age, level of experience and areas was evident. Our unique networks and experience made this event special for many attending. Thank you for everyone who supported and attended this event! We are very grateful for all of you <3
